Magmaquake and chosen of markov

[Hallo]

First of all thank you to everybody on the interwebs with patience, second of all I hope this question doesn't offend anybody like my last question. Apparently it caused some major stress, and major stress has been linked to high blood pressure and heart attacks, so trolls ought to calm down. I also tried searching and came up mostly with deck lists and no answers to my questions (but like I said earlier I am a bumblee).

Anyway.... 1) Does {magmaquake} effect your own creatures?
2) To transform {chosen of markov} could I tap a vampire with summoning sickness? I have heard summoning sickness includes activated abilities, but since it isn't actually the vampires ability I wasn't sure if that applied.

2) yes you can use a summoning sickness effected creature. So long as the Chosen isn't sick itself.
