Tempest and even my favorite block was the Tempest/Urza block. I liked playing with {counterspell} and {mana leak} at the same time. That's what tempest brought and then Urza brought insane cards like {tinker}

This, all day. Tempest has my favorite weird artwork, upped the power level for MtG and {Wasteland} at uncommon, made for some lively games.

I remember how awesome fallen empire was when it first came out. Thrulls, thalaids(not sure on spelling) goblin warrens and grenade. Great times.
