Still couldn't find anything to help him. Might have to stick with mana ramp.

No spells or permanents are going make abilities free. You'll have to come up with something else like {Ashnod's Altar}.

Only if u have infinite mana, reread {heartstone} it CAN NOT reduce the cost to less then 1, so it doesnt do anything...

Try {ashnods altar} + {melira sylvok outcast} + any persist creature. Infinite mana. Boom goes the dynamite.

{safehold elite} and {rendclaw trow} are good choice since you wanna go WGB anyway.
