$16.00 for a near mint playset of {Lotus Petal}

Coffee Vampire

For me I think it was $17 on an {Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite}. As for playsets, I paid $20 for a playset of {Forbidden Orchard}.

$4 is my limit and I don't think I even did that. I would rather take my chance and buy a pack.

BlackJester

Spent $50 on a shiny {Mindslaver} when the first Mirrodin came out.

I put it right next to my RIM stocks. 😓

In my defense, the idea of controlling a player for an entire turn seemed so OP!  In my head I saw a cheaper (and so better) {Door to Nothingness}.  Also, SO much fun in multiplayer.

In reality, it turns out more like the flavor text on {Telepathy}:
"The most disappointing thing about learning telepathycontrolling a player is finding out how boring useless people really are."

Are your RIM's spinners

In a perpetually downward spiral I suppose.
HAHAHAHAHA

RIM is Research In Motion, the company that makes Blackberrys.  Not doing so well...  ::)
