Alright we are back.
First up today is {Curse of Bloodletting}

This card is awesome but just too slow. Red deck can deal 10 direct damage to the face easily and this would then be a win. However most red decks do not have ramp decreasing this cards playability extremely. Spending 5 mana to play an enchantment that does nothing unless you can damage your opponent is pretty bad. The best application for this card would be in EDH where you have plenty of time and with your opponents at 40 life it is very helpful.

Second we have {Memnite}
Printing cards with {0} converted mana cost was the cheapest thing wizards did aside from allowing you to exchange life for mana. {Memnite}, although only a 1/1 body costs nothing. Everyone loves free stuff and I am no exception. I have seen {Memnite} (and {Ornithopter} while we are at it) played in non-pursteel/tempered steel decks. He is a very playable card at {0} mana and is pretty cool anywhere. His only main downside is that he is only a 1/1.

Third (and for my choice) {Nicol, Bolas Planeswalker}

Unplayable in legacy but in other formats very good. I once saw a match where a grixis control deck held off a Goblin Suicide deck and then won with {Grave Titan}. Well you could also win with Bolas. He is awesome in casual ok in standard and good in EDH but beyond that...
He can defend himself by steeling a creature and then he reaches his ultimate very quickly. All in all he is playable but just barely.

Another good article! Loved the choice of Nicol Bolas, as he's my favorite planeswalker. Always great playing him in edh and just hearing the opponent sigh. Also one of the few ways Grixis colors can deal with enchantments!
