For me...I started mainly in onslaught block and saw goblins with {goblin sharpshooter} With {blistering firecat} being a t1 deck that was really good. I was on a 10 year hiatus😊 another good deck in my time was {voidmage prodigy}.

What's the best standard deck you've ever played/seen?

(im sure some people will post JTMS since it got banned and he was over 100$ at one point).

Kuberr

{Minds desire} +{Tendrils of agony} back in limited.

Hah.

I won't let you draw your first card, I would say. Haha

In standard I would have to say caw blades (the deck that made jace and stone forge banned and stupid expensive). It had the best win % that I've heard of. 70+ % v. any deck other than {valakut}. It had a 60 % chance to beat that. It was so over played in my area.

{Memory jar} deck was my favorite deck. There was a reason why it was banned 2 weeks after it came out. Turn 2 victories in standard.

That whole block was broken. I wasn't playing at the time, but the legends still carry on to this day.

I was... And i didn't realize how out of control it was. They had to design really strong cards for Urza's block as Tempest block (and to a lesser extent Mirage) had a really high tempo (at least I thought after homelands and alliances). It as around the time they were just to design the sets for limited and there was just a few factors to create perfect storm of an entire block of insane stuff.

Urza's  Legacy was the first set for foils too. I think Wizards was just starting to turn into the huge company it is today.
Man it was great times. There were so many different combo, control, and aggro decks back then. Great times.
