I always thought it unfair that werewolves had a ridiculous CMC for their vanilla side and they were not gauranteed to ever flip or stay flipped.  Yet Delver is a 1 CMC who flips so easy and has no condition to flip back?

Exactly!
I play werewolves and its so unfair when I get killed by turn 1 delver flip turn 2 manaleak my burn spell and then kill me and win.
Which is why {Daybreak Ranger} was invented.

I had a {relentless rats} EDH deck once. I used {reaper king} as my general and had {conspiracy} to turn them into scarecrows as well as rats. I would end up dumping all my rats from hand and deck while {reaper king} was out and destroy all there perments then attack next turn for alot of damage from my rats. It was both fun and annoying.
