Nacatl defense

As per the wording of {nacatl war pride} my brother and I interpret that as you must block it. My question is do I have to block it or can I choose to block his other bigger creatures? Also on a side note can {sundial of infinite combo} be used to keep the tokens and make even more the next turn?

You have to block them all. Sundial works, As does {Parallel Lives}.
