Without {stoneforge mystic} in Modern are there any other good ways to sneak in a quick artifact/equipment? I'm trying to have a {Worldslayer} on an {Invisble Stalker} ASAP!

{Stonehewer Giant} sneaks equipment in, but he has a CMC of 5, rather high for what you want to accomplish.

There is a from the vaults version that is modern legal

Reprinted cards in FtV series are only legal in the sets that they were already legal in.

And considering that {Tinker} is banned in every format but Vintage, I couldn't really see them allowing it in modern.  And that rule has been in effect forever.
