Lose the black and go for midnight haunting. Better mana base and instant speed is better than maybe getting a few tokens.

{lingering Souls} is better then {midnight haunting}. Souls is good early and late game. 4 bodies 1 card is really good.

{moorland haunt} does what you {midnight haunting} to do. And as for the pike it's ok if it loses a point here or there as long as I can have creatures to equip it to.
