I am new to the game and trying to learn all the rules. I have Erdwal Illuminator and the text reads "Flying. Whenever you investigate for the first time each turn, investigate an additional time." I don't have any cars in this deck that tell me to investigate and the likelihood I will put down a clue is low. Is it telling me to investigate twice IF I Do investigate? Or is it telling me to investigate twice per turn and put two clues down per turn? Help? Please? ^_^ Thank you.

So you do need to have another card that causes you to investigate for the illuminator to trigger and give you an additional one. If nothing in the deck has investigate, the illuminator will never produce one alone.

Example. You have {erdwal illuminator} already out and you cast {thraben inspector}, will get two clues. Inspector puts down one. Illuminator sees this, and gives you an additional clue.
