Maybe this is dumb, but since no planeswalkers, maybe {pore over the pages} instead of {oath of jace}? Yeah you have to have the five lands but it does net the same and only makes you discard one.

I have {bound by moonsilver} in a deck with starfield and that works great. Then keep the oath in there and have it land every turn!

Path is there strictly for Starfield + tutelage combo. Also oath and Starfield on their own is insane. Enchantments matter
