My friend is at 2 life and has {Cunning Sparkmage}, a {Kiora's Follower} and another {Kiora's Follower} with {Illusionist Bracers} equipped. I cast {shock}. He in turn responds by tapping equipped follower to untap his other follower and sparkmage. Taps sparkmage to deal 1 dmg to me. Taps unequipped follower to untap equipped follower. And the process repeats killing me before my shock goes off. Is this legit?

{Kiora's Follower} says "another" so it can't untap itself. So you do need two.

Can I cast another shock anywhere in this stupid combo to killem?

Whenever they go to untap a follower would be good, if you do it to the sparkmahe they can continue the untap and zap cycle

The thing is, he can respond to your shock by adding more triggers on top of your shock.
Say you've got 5 life left, he just stacks 5 zaps. If you respond with another {shock}, another cycle is added. He can do this any number of times, so even if you have every burn spell ever, he just responds by killing you.

There is one thing: split second.
{Sudden Shock} Will kill him just like that.

If you respond to the untap trigger, when everything is tapped, they can't just keep doing the combo. You don't need split second.

Ah, I see it now. {shock} in response to the tapping of either follower..

They can just keep adding to the stack on top of your shock though

Remember that BOTH players must pass priority for anything to resolve

Basically, once the Follower with the Bracers is activated, there's a window to cast another spell before the Sparkmage and other Follower become untapped.  That'd be the place to intervene.

Yeah, but at the moment they tap follower to untap follower, everything is tapped. You add shock to player, GG. They could respond with another untap effect if they have one, and run the loop again, if they can untap.
