Best control deck

if you had to decide what you thought the best control deck ever was, including any and all cards without restrictions.  What would the deck be?

Format? The Esper control of RTR standard was probably my favorite.

Casual I guess.  Doesn't have to be tournament leagal for any standard

Go look at the old {astral slide}/{lightning rift} decks of yore. It wasn't permission control but they were very sweet.

It's a toss up between Esper and Grixis IMO.

From a standard format the Drownyard. control Deck (Esper) of Innistrad and RtR was insane.

Modern currently UWr holds the spot of top Control Deck (but it's not seeing a lot of play)

But overall the best control deck (outside of Vintage legal cards) is UWr Miracles in Legacy! The combo of {Senseis Diving Top} and {Counterbalance} is absolutely insane
