Krenko with bracers

I am a bit in doubt about this one.
{krenko, mob boss} on the field with {illusionists bracers}. When you tap him, if I'm right he makes 3 tokens (assuming otherwise empty board). First one from the copy (only krenko as goblin), then when the original resolves there are 2 goblins, the token and krenko, thus 2 goblins are made. Am I correct in this one?

Correct.  The number of goblins is checked on resolution.
