Infinite Combat Phases and R/G Mana

{Aggravated Assault} and {Savage Ventmaw}

Savage Ventmaw
4RG
Creature - Dragon
Flying

Whenever Savage Ventmaw attacks, add RRRGGG to your mana pool. Until end of turn, this mana doesn't empty from your mana pool as steps and phases end.

This gives you infinite combat phases, untaps all your creatures, and gives you either a {g} or {r} floating mana that doesn't empty between phases and steps.

The only con is that Ventmaw needs to attack each combat. He can be blocked and killed which would really suck. You can add regenerate cards to hope he doesn't die from blocking, but that can be a non-issue if your opponent doesn't have a big enough flying blocker.

Easiest thing would be {regeneration} and use the floating {G} to trigger. Can get really degenerate with a host of dragons and {silumgar, flying death} though. That -1/-1 for each dragon stacks....

I like it: gonna get a place in my {R}{G}{U} dragon tribal.

It's funny. Savage ventmaw references {savage beating} which happens to have an extra combat phase choice. So I thought it was going to the right card, but I couldn't figure out the combo. That was confusing. If I would have just kept reading your post....

Cool! Glad a combo I found can be put to use.

But wait, wouldn't Ventmaw's mana empty before you have a chance to use {Aggravated Assault's} ability (which says it can only be used as a sorcery)?

Nfidel2k

Part of Ventmaw's text is that the mana doesn't empty until end of turn
