if I have {Vesuva} ETB as a copy of {Dark Depths}, will V still have the ice counters?

Thanks

Skullguy725

Sorry, title was supposed to say Vesuva

griffin131

Yes. Vesuva ETBs as the land it's copying, so any ETB on the land will get triggered.

Avnger345

You want to use  {Thespian's Stage} For that combo

Not to hijack the thread,  but does it bother anybody else how The Absolution of the Guildpact is in normal font on the flavor teXT of {Thesbian Stage}????? I understand why it is but it seems so out of place

Yeah, that was one of the first things I saw on that card

It is because the guildpact is a law type thing, and they want it to stand out, hence the all caps as well.

I think that's one of those things that would normally be italicized itself, so when used in an italicized sentence, you...normalize? it.

It's done on more flavour texts to emphasize, like italicing. Never seen this large a sample though.

Yep. This. {Primeval Titan} for another example.

Where can I get a copy of {The Absolution of the Guildpact}? Sounds like an interesting read

It's because whenever you write down the title of a book, a play, or a movie anywhere, you always italicise it if the rest is normal or you make it normal if the rest is italicised
