{Doom Blade} or {Go for the Throat}?
I'm curious which is strictly "better" now obviously doom blade is useless in a mono black matchup and go for the throat wouldn't do so well against a robot deck. HOWEVER those aside which is more playable? And would be better main boarded to deal with a wider range of decks. I'm currently running 2 interchangeably in my deck and haven't noticed too much of a difference but my playing pool is rather limited and i need More experienced and competitive input to come to a final decision.

The drawback of {Go for the Throat} is much less likely to be relevant than that of {Doom Blade}.

Doesn't matter anymore bc {Muderous Cut} is almost always better than both!!

But for the record (in Modern anyway) Doom Blade is better bc affinity is more popular than Bob and {Creeping Tar Pit}

BUT WAIT!! Just realized that {Siege Rhino} is Modern Playable lol so idk but tbh Cut is just better

{Go for the Throat} over {Doom Blade}, and if {Murderous Cut} will work in your deck, play it over both. Go for's drawback is only relevant against Affinity, but 99% of the time, you will sideboard hate for the deck and trying to 1 for 1 it just won't work.

Delve isn't quite my deck's style but depending yes it is quite good.

Doesn't have to be in modern your fetches fuel your GY and unless you're playing {Knight of the Reliquery} it doesn't matter if you delve them!

I run 2 of each and sideboard 2 more  {Go for the Throat}. This is in a deck running 3  {Hero's Downfall} And 2  {Bile Blight} Though.

Given the choice I would probably pick doom blade.

I've gotta lean towards {Go for the Throat}. I mean {Doom Blade} doesn't work vs 20%ish of creatures. I think that the artifact count is less than that in general, and as mentioned you sideboard hate vs affinity decks.

I like how it's just "You sideboard affinity hate." Like there's no other way to play the game. This makes me smile XD
