So my {Bronze Sable} is enchanted with {Gift of Immortality}, when cool opponent casts the coolest card ever {Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite}.

what happens to my Bronze Sable?

what if it was enchanted with {Indestructibility} instead?

Nymuera

The Sable will die, both it and the gift will go to the graveyard. The Sable will return, then die again. At the end of the turn the gift will not return because the creature is no longer on the battlefield.

704.5f: If a creature has toughness 0 or less, it's put into its owner's graveyard. Regeneration can't replace this event.

Indestructible will not do you any good either.

Daxos

are we sure?

702.12b: A permanent with indestructible can't be destroyed. Such permanents aren't destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the state-based action that checks for lethal damage (see rule 704.5g).

particle

there not being "destroyed". -toughness isnt destroying the creatures.

#1 way to rid yourselves of Theros block gods and why  {Tragic Slip} Is so awesome.

Or {erase}....god I hate that

Daxos

lol very eloquent, thanks Llama.

also never thought about Killing gods with tragic slip -- kind of pathetic for gods to be slipping into tombs like that.

as long as we are talking god hate bears, they did design {deicide}
and also there's that coolness æther-something green instant with the bridge exploding that shuffles them away for good #sadbatman

ah that's much more fitting art. Straight killing him with a trident! Revel this mr. X!

Daxos

yea don't know what Xenagod did to Elspeth to warrant such a killing mood(?) and with added " remove all copies from graveyard library and hand " -- she seems to be über pissed, right?

great card.

bonus info, I swore it's name was Decide for the longest time, up until a little while ago. Deicide is even better title, though. d'oh!
