Have you ever built 2 identical commander decks just to see how they compete?

I'm contemplating identical sliver edh decks for my wife and I as a test run into edh and wanted to ask your opinions...

I have never but it'd be über cool to do it with slivers since the old ones are all slivers lol!

Two sliver edh decks against eachother would be kind of crazy and probably hard to keep track of when all the slivers from both sides are pumping eachother all over the place.

Even worse: some slivers pump both sides and some cards only pump yours. It would only be doable with like a whiteboard.

Who's brilliant idea was that anyway!
"I know! Let's make a tribe that pumps your polenta dudes too! So that way, mirror matches are a pain to keep track of! You know what else! Let's reprint them in the future with different names and they only effect your side!"
