Found cards, need help

So I was given a bunch of my buddies cards by his mom. He is the one who got me into magic.
Anyway, there are a bunch of cards that have a gold border and on the back say, "Magic the Gathering WORLDS" then below that it says, "World championship BRUSSELS August 2000"
It looks like all the cards are from the 2000 to the early 90's.
Can anyone tell me what these are and if they are worth any more or any less than what the price guid says on here for the standard versions of these cards? I have pics but don't know how to share them with you guys.

They are worth almost nothing because they aren't tournament legal.

If you can't find a good price you can always check eBay. May be hard to find.
