Can somone explain like in rules terms how exactly scapesjift uses Valkur to win?

Remillo

This Gatherer ruling is basically why it works:

10/1/2009: If multiple Mountains enter the battlefield under your control at the same time, Valakut's second ability could trigger that many times. Each ability takes into consideration the other Mountains that entered the battlefield at the same time as the one that caused it to trigger.

Each of the mountains (and Valakut, if Scapeshift needed to find one) 'sees' the others enter, and will trigger if a total of 6 or more mountains are now on the battlefield.  Because of this interaction, you can Scapeshift for 7 Mountains and a Valakut to get 7 triggers and deal 21 damage to your opponent.

Or scapeshift for 7 lands, get 2 valakut and 5 mountains for 30 damage.

Re-read  {Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle} again. Where does it say that it is legendary?
