Blank mtg cards

My brother has like 10-15 blank mtg cards. It's got the back of it, and the front has a boarder, but the picture, name and textbox is all blank. What are they for?

You have to post the image somewhere online, someone else might know a site but I don't, and then post a link.

He currently uses them as tokens that he doesn't have. Like my brother pulls 10-15 goblin tokens at a time, and doesn't have enough tokens to compensate, so he uses the blank cards.

They're for making your own cards. Which was actually kind of fun if you were playing against somebody who used it fairly. Like my buddy made a 10 mana 10/10 with protection from creatures named "Turd"...he even put in flavor text about how it smelled so bad that other creatures wouldn't touch it or something. Anywho, it did have something to do with the championship decks and I think it came out around the same time as the "Unhinged" expansion, which might help explain its purpose.
