If I were playing 2HG and my {Guttersnipe} ciphered with {Hidden Strings} hits my opponent,
Could my team mate taps 3 land for mana, I untap 2 of his lands, then he uses those 2 as well to pay for a 5 drop?

If the spell is instant or has flash then yes, if not the mana will drain after the combat phase.
