I have always wanted to make this deck, but I dont know where to start, can someone show me a list for this deck please.

NovusOrbis

Blue Moon lists are your best bet.

Mattao19

Ya Blue Moon is my recommendation too and tbh I really like U Moon right now in the meta bc MB Blood Moons will always be good!!

Z5

Ok thanks guys, the moons might be out of my budget, but I'll try it with proxys

Z5

Also remand is out of my budget, is {delay} still an ok replacement.

Could you maybe put up a list so I can visually see what the deck is supposed to look like.

Mattao19

Delay isn't a replacement sadly Blue Moon relies on remand bc it's time walk

I understand, also remand draws u a card.

If you're on a budget try {Familiar's Ruse}, {Deprive} and {Logic Knot}. Now, none of these are {Remand} but IMO they're better. Let me explain, first of all I hate {Remand},

{Deprive} = Counter target spell {Halimar Depths} ghetto scry 3, {Temple of Epiphany} scry 1, {Swiftwater Cliffs} gain one life.

{Familiar's Ruse} = Counter target spell, save a creature. Or setup another {Snapcaster Mage}/*insert other utility creatures*

{Logic Knot} = {Counterspell} if your deck is running smoothly and you're not facing some ramping monstrosity.

I personally hate {Blood Moon} because I think it's one of the stupidest cards ever printed. Yes, it punishes people for using expensive mana bases, but it also punishes people for making complex multicolored decks and not playing red. {2}{R} You win the game in 9/10 cases is not my style. That said to each their own and I now run pretty much exclusively fetches, shocks and basics while having ample SB hate. Still, I hate {Blood Moon}.

IMO going Jeskai is a better bet (I have a list) but here are some suggestions for you.

Wipes. {Pyroclasm} and {Anger of the Gods} meta and win con dependent I'd go 3/2 in favor of Anger. Most likely.

Burn/Spot Removal.

{Lightning Bolt} always good.

{Electrolyze} this card is amaze, pop little guys and keep going.

{Flame Slash} meta and wincon dependent a very solid card.

Stuff like {Arc Trail}. {Searing Blaze} and {Forked Bolt} to fill up the gaps.

Counters.

{Counterflux} run four. Massively good, shuts down all decks that like to cover themselves. Especially scapeshift.

{Deprive} see above

{Familiar's Ruse} see above, I wouldn't recommend running too many.

{Logic Knot} pay attention to your GY in playtesting then decide.

{Cryptic Command} if you can afford it.

{Dissipate} budget hate for reanimator and retrace that's also good vs other decks. There's something better but I can't remember what it is...

{Essence Backlash} it is so insanely satisfying to cast this. Not a seriously good spell but it's FUN.

Catchers.

Just in case somebody lands something you can't burn, you'll want a couple of these.

{Vapor Snag} double whammy.

{Unsummon} if you can't get {Vapor Snag}s.

{Disperse} for all your enchantment, artifact and Planeswalker catching needs.

There's also a catch all at sorcery speed for {U}, can't remember what it is.

Utility.

{Izzet Charm}, counter, burn or dig deeper.

{Snapcaster Mage} If I need to explain this I suggest you just run a list with them on Untap, then you'll see.

{Turn//Burn} it's as close as you get to a catch all. Idk if I'd run it but it's there if you need it.

{Goblin Electromancer}: Doubt you'll make use of it, but he's there.

Wincons.

As far as I'm concerned you want cheap effective win-conditions. You can't afford to stick a {Pearl Lake Ancient} or a {AEtherling}. So here are my ideas.

{Delver of Secrets}: Turn one Delver turn two flip and hold on for the 7 turn (ish) win.

{Invisible Stalker}: If you're feeling like going slow and painful.

{Young Pyromancer}: Win for doing what you're doing, which is keeping your opponent off the board and burning face.

{Guttersnipe}: Everybody knows this guy, and he will be met with a vicious cry of "KILL IT!" from the spectators and a look of pure hatred from the player across the table. At least in my meta...

{Jace, Architect of Thought}: Keeps you alive until you can ult. Not bad. (Note my bias towards Planeswalkers. I'm debating adding him to my Jeskai list.)

Card Draw.

{Sphinx's Rev} is a reason to go white. Just sayin... Now I'll be serious.

{Compulsive Research} is pretty stinkin solid if you keep your curve low. None of my suggestions are "technically" over 3cmc. I haven't tried it myself but I've heard good things.

{Mulldrifter} {Divination} on a stick that can become a creature if you want. All around not bad.

{Telling Time} cause that flavor.

*insert usual cantrips and stuff*

Thanks so much, I am running telling time, also running 4 mana leak.

Z5

My curve is so low, I'm thinking of running a 2 of the sceptre thing.

LinkCelestrial

I like the scepter. {Mana Leak} isn't very good unless you're going to close games fast. Can I see a list?

Soon, its only about 28 cards currently, also when playing against beatdown decks you eventually run out of counter, I have been thinking about {kazuul, tyrant of the cliffs} to shutdown the attack, any thoughts?
