New Splinter Twin enabler?

Couldn't the {Splinter Twin} modern deck use {Breaching Hippocamp} to be another enabler?

Yes, however it doesn't have flyi and costs more than {pestermite} so it's not nearly as good.  And splinter twin can't afford to ditch even more space for more combo pieces. 

Well I don't think the flying really matters. But yeah, Twin is already sitting just fine with the pestermites and exarches

I guess so. Without the combo though the deck's kind of dead in the water. It has some burn and {Grim Lavamancer}, but it really needs the combo to win.
