You can streamline this combo by using life loss that costs less and is harder to counter, like {Piranha Marsh}.

You can also substitute {Aqueous Form} for {Hearth Charm} for better mana flow.

Doesn't work. The master assigns no combat damage when he would hit so cipher won't trigger. He can never actually kill, just almost kill.

It depends on when {Shadow Slice} is cast. It could always be done after combat, no need to cipher.

Although then there would be much better spells for life loss.
