still think heroic is the strongest new mechanic in theros. took first yesterday with a green white heroic and it didnt even have any bombs like {centaur battlemaster} or {fabled hero}. just mostly did work with {favored hoplite} and a bunch of triggers. on turn four in a game i swung with {phalanx leader} and {wingsteed rider} and i {dauntless onslaught} and {warrior's lesson} swinging for 13! and this was in the finals. black/white lifegain couldnt come back from that.

In Theros draft, heroic is a really solid and reliable mechanic to go with, but that doesn't mean it's the only way. If you look at who's been winning draft gp's, it's all over the place. Still, sweet deck!
