If I use {liquimetal coating} on let's say a creature my opponent controls. I can then play {Master thief} and take that creature. My question is would I keep that creature after the turn ends because it's no longer an artifact? Also when thief dies would I still have control of it?

As soon as it loses its artifact status u lose control over it
