I pmed the seller and he let me cancel.  So he's not a bad person.  I thought that since he waited to change the description until where was less than 12 hours left, he would force me to pay.

And ebay can force you to pay.  When you hit confirm bid, it's just like signing a contract.  They even say you are committing to buy it if you win.

That's bull .poo! Glad he let you out of it. Ridiculous! That's what keeps me away feom eBay when it comes to collection cards.

Sometimes if you call people out on cards they will comp you. I got a whole purchase comped and one time I got a really great deal on a purchase and the seller told me the card was lost or no longer available. I called him out of the absurdity of listing an item if you didn't have it. He found it conveniently within a week.

I bought a foil altered elspeth knight errant and the guy kept saying it was lost in the mail. After a month or so(i think) and lots of time spent trying to get the post office to find it, I finally gave up and got my money back.

I would have rather had the card, it was awesome.

I had a seller bid against me (on a seperate account) to drive the price up to what he wanted to sell it for, I won the bid and put in a complaint. They saw it was him using the other account and I didn't have to pay.
