It's "group hug". You use your resources to bribe players into doing stuff for you. Really depends on your play group.

Interesting. Definitely not how I like to play though, I prefer "Deal with it" then "May I?"=P

That's silly. Today I played a late {Phyrexian Rebirth} in a 4 person free for all, leaving no blockers for my 18/18 horror ;D why help opponents when they can help you?
