Does {judge of currents} or {stonybrook schoolmaster} abilities trigger if it attacks? It says when it becomes tapped, you gain x.

loop-s-pool

Yes it triggers unless it has vigilance.

I figured. Got a question about the stack. Opponent has a 2/2 creature, put {Giant Growth} on it, I respond with {Dismember}, then he responds with 1 more {Giant Growth}, is his 2nd pump wasted on the stack?

BadLuckIrish

His 2nd grouth will pump it to a 5/5. Then dismember will bring it to 0/0 killing it. The 1st giant growth fizz's out

Something like {black cat} says when it dies discard a card at random, does that include dying as a state-based effect?

I equip 4 {Paradise Mantle} to 1 {Tidal Warrior}, can I use all 4 tap abilities? ie: 4 mana of any color and turn target land into an island until the end of turn.

First of all you can't tap something that is already tapped (unless it is untapped first)

Next we need to see that each one of those lines are a cost:effect
You pay the cost for one (which happens to be tapping the creature) and you get the effect.
You cannot then pay another one by tapping the same creature.

So in short: No.
