Ok...best way I know to ask this question is just to give the specific example I have in mind...

If I have {kaalia of the vast} as my general, can I cheat {sigarda, host of herons} onto the field? Not exactly sure due to the fact that sigarda is green but I'm not using green mana to put her on the field
