Elspeth good or bad?

I got an  {Elspeth, Sun's Champion} at my pre release but I don't understand why people think it is so good. Please can someone give me their opinion on the card.

She can be good if you ramp into her. She's a possible T3. Three 1/1's to defend her right when she comes out is good.
