I was wondering if you had a {Pyromancer's Gauntlet} and use something like {Flames of the Firebrand}, choosing 3 different targets would it deal the 2 additional to all of the targets. Ex. with Pyromancer's Gauntlet out use Flames of the Firebrand dealing 1 damage to 3 different 3/3s do the 3/3s die? If not what does it deal extra damage to?

Yes it does 2 damage extra to every target.

The first part of the if clause is a condition, a trigger. This trigger checks whether the source is red and whether it deals damage to a target.

When the condition is met, it checks the damage being dealt to the target, then deals 2 more damage.

Now I wonder, if the target has damage that would be prevented by say,  {Healing Salve}, would the gauntlet deal the extra 2 damage?

I got a feeling no, since no damage meant not dealing damage, which the trigger condition won't meet?

Or "would deal" and "deals" is different?

With healing salve it prevents the next damage coming in to target creature till end of turn, so your exactly right the conditions are not met so the extra 2 never takes effect
