So I'm currently testing destiny out for bungie before the rest of the world gets a chance to try it next week.

It's seriously a lot of fun. I've only seen around 100 people online (ps3 psn) so far.

Anyways, the game plays like a mix of halo, an mmorpg, and borderlands.

Customizablety is very much like skyrim. You pick 1 of 3 categories. Each character has a specific special move that can be done hitting r2 and l2 after doing well in the game. You can add different upgrades to weapons and armor. Kinda like final fantasy materia, only less options. You pick up things called cryptographs, which a man turns Into weapons. Weapons can have elemental qualities like fire.

The beta only let's you get to level 8, but I did that in about 4 hours time.

There's a Hub called the tower. It's very mmo like.

The story mode is fantastic. I made it to level 6, which is great. Game plays exactly like halo, and borderlands. It's pretty balanced, but occasionally you can fight a really really hard optional enemy. People are going to hate this tank spider boss lol I can already tell.

Multiplayer is great. There's a jungle level, snow level, and a factory. Those are the only 3 I've played.

The vehicles are awesome. The predator is fantastic.

All in all, I can't stop playing it. It's really really good.

From the sounds of it, it'll be pretty good. I'm just hesitant that there are few customization/rpg elements. Hopefully the final version will have expanded on these.

I have a thick-headed friend who thinks Halo style games had they're time. I can't wait to tell him about the beta alone.

Are all the classes playable and balanced? IE, is there only one good choice or are you always screwed if you're up against a specific type?

Do equip and gun choice ruin the game balance? Can you stay competitive with "crappy" equipment? Do you always win if you have the best stuff?

Can a level one kill a level eight?

What do the different elements do?

How's the radar? Is stealth an option or do you always know where everybody is?

Is the gameplay like COD and you always have to be moving? Is "camping" an option?

Maps? Are there good places to be/snipe from?

Is there some sort of co-op survival mode?

My friend who has the beta has been excitedly playing it as long as he's had it.  He has stated many good things about the game, and he is someone whose opinion I strongly respect.  He has said that the game forces you to use teamwork, so that's refreshing. He has also stated that everything is seamless, beautiful to look at, and an overall fun game.

That being said, I do not intend on purchasing it.  I feel as though this game is a lot like Grand Theft Auto 5, (no not in gameplay at all) as in how I felt about vs how others felt about it.  To me it wasn't that fun and just not my kind of game.  I feel like that will happen here too, I haven't been personally impressed by it so far.

That also being said, I will enjoy the occasional gameplay session with friends, however, I will probably not add it to my collection.

The graphics are amazing the story so far has been good the gameplay is CoD mixed with halo yes you can compete with poo guns because everything balances itself gameplay is much more skill based then CoD everything is multi player including story mode there's a few customization things that are very detailed I think this might be a CoD killer my friends
