New generation in the console wars

It is that time again guys.

Which is better?   PS4, or XBox One.

Voice your opinion on the consoles and the potential that it has.  Say the problems with it that you see.

Seeing as PS4 hadn't been fully revealed yet, I can't tell you my opinion fully on the system.  But with what has been spoiled about it, I think it is very cool.

The idea that they didn't suclude themselves with their thought process and acually went out, and asked what they could do better was smart.  It brings in the potential to be very user friendly, and less confusing then it already is.  And it isn't even that confusing as it is.

The games look interesting, we have blizzard helping us, the people who made halo, Insomniac, square Enix (Which they still haven't decided to release what most of the square Enix fans wanted.  AGAIN.). Just a good ravel of makers

I'm generally interested.


XBox One...  Oh God.

Well let's start out with pros.
They games, and graphics look great as always, the tv feature is very cool, and it truly is a system all in one.

That's all the good things I can say.


The Cons.

The system will always be scrutinized for it's payment for multiplayer, it is a big mistake.  Although it helps against hackers, still I would pay for membership.

They announced that you have to install the game when you get to fit your system.  The problem with this is they just crashed the used games department.  Although they don't gain any money from that market, it is still a bad business move.  Even the hardcore XBox friends of mine are angry.

Windows 8.

This is an operating system that has completely screwed up laptops, family computers, everything for friends and family of mine.  It is scary to think they put this as the XBox operating system.  I personally have had no problems, but I have seen a family member's laptop basically dump all files he had, and deleted them.  All due to Windows 8.


Right now I think PS4 has the benefit of the doubt and wins the console war in the new generation.

First Magic has stupid new rules. And now the secondary market for video games got the finger from Xbox. "Hey GameStop! Yeah! .love. you!"

Lets list some more of those Xbone cons. ALWAYS connected to Internet. Don't connect for 24 hours and get a mandatory update? You've now just got yourself an $899 brick, as it won't do anything offline. ALWAYS connected kinect. Did we mention no used games? The controller is vomitus. It is once again XBOX HUEG. Oh and here's a special gem "Microsoft has filed for a Kinect-related patent, and it's a doozy of an application. The abstract describes a camera-based system that would monitor the number of viewers in a room and check to see if the number of occupants exceeded a certain threshold set by the content provider. If there are too many warm bodies present, the device owner would be prompted to purchase a license for a greater number of viewers." I'm sure there's more, but I'm really just done with this mess.

Tl;dr-Why do they call it the Xbox one? Because I turn one degree and walk away.
