Fetch land shock land

So let's say you put down  {Scalding Tarn}, crack it to fetch  {Hallowed Fountain}! Would you have to pay the two life from the shockland for it to enter untapped? I understand it says "when it enters pay two..." but I'm wondering if that can be bypassed.
