Suggestions for kaalia

I have a kaalia deck that is based on getting kaalia out and cheating huge creatures into play. I am looking to make it more control, and or make it not such a target when playing more than one person. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Or just load it with equipment to protect her, she is squishy. {Darksteel Plate}, {Whispersilk Cloak}, {Swiftfoot Boots}, {Sword of Body and Mind}, {Sword of Feast and Famine}, {Sword of Fire and Ice}, {Sword of Light and Shadow}, {Sword of War and Peace}

Ok that's what I figured. I was hoping there would be a good alternative

You can try {Oros, the Avenger}. What I don't like about {Kaalia of the Vast} is that she kinda makes the deck for you, it's not really creative. I hate when Wizards gets involved when they shouldn't be, they made the best commander for that wedge, and they make it so simply to design around.

I wish they'd make a cooler Esper commander too. I'm running out {Dromar, the Banisher} because I get beat up for using {Sen Triplets}, {Zur the Enchanter} and {Sharuum the Hegemon}. I guess no matter what they do someone will break it.

Yea the esper commanders are crazy good! I will probably try out oros here soon. My friend just made a zur deck and actually didn't make it over powered, which I was surprised about!

She is OP, but not impossible to combat. One of my decks has  {Kaalia of the Vast} as the commander. Maybe my play groups EDH decks are all way too good, but they make it tough for me to win a lot of the time.

I currently use Kaalia in my EDH deck, but I'm swapping her out for Oros, the Avenger when I get him.

I play all the protection spells in mine like {Brave the Elements} etc. then destroy all lands so no one can target her. Bit it's like {Dudecore} say, you should play a more fair general lol. I hardly ever play mine because everyone goes after me.

Yea I played her last night in my play group and she got targeted so fast so I either need more protection or just not make the deck around her, or play a different commander

Well I played all angels. No dragons or demons. There are angels that have low CMC giving you a early game, and playing just one of the types instead of all 3 makes Kalia more tolerable.

That actually sounds like a really good plan, but I have some high end demons and dragons!
