Adding promo cards and several other types?

Normal cards have the brown backing with "Deckmaster" on the bottom and have the 5 colors in the center. Tokens usually have an announcement or tip on the back. 

As for the database, you just search and find out . And for upcoming things, follow Piotr's database rev's in "Announcements" and that'll tell you when things are added or changed.
