Only date between the day after valentines day and the week before thanksgiving, AKA dating season. Avoid family obligations and don't worry about gifts!! Even better if her b-day falls outside of dating season

MisterJH

All the smart guys get their girlfriends in early january, girls are easier to get before valentines day

i prefer long term relationships over "dating". Why the heck do people do otherwise? is it for you-know-what? If there in a steady relationship than they don't have to work to get it. While if they arnt, there always working hard to get it, when they should just go steady.

Of course that's not the only reason to go steady. You also connect with the person on a deeper level, and you also have a best friend.

Personaly to everyone I say, go for long term relationships. Don't "date"

I disagree with long-term relationships. I don't like the notion of being tied down to one person. People change, situations change, opportunities present themselves constantly. My happiness is paramount because I'm the only person who has my brain. I wake up with it, I go to sleep with it. If I'm not happy then what else could truly matter?

Life is about experience and doing things that only you are capable of experiencing. I might love someone, I might just like them, I may even be faithful to them until the day I die, but those are things that satisfy me at that certain place and time.

13.77 billion years from the Big Bang till today, and I'll be damned if I'm doing something I hate to make someone else happy. Everything is fire and life moves baby, experience it.

Sorry to say, but it's nearly impossible to pick and choose when you will meet a significant other.

I've never met a woman who was "easier" to get at a certain time of year.

Basically, I think this thread is pointless. And I highly doubt that this is the "best" dating advice you've ever received. 😦

Never, ever do long distance, its nothing but hell and usually ends badly

Here's some advice: don't look for dating advice on imtg.

Piotr

I'd say, look on iMtG by all means, but make sure you can tell good advice from the bad one. Then again, if you can tell that, you probably don't need advice, just assurance :P

How about advice for the date itself? Never use a coupon until the 2nd date, and if you know any small sleight of hand tricks try them out. Worst case scenario, she thinks it is cute

Double-O-Scotch

Never tell her you're looking for dating tips on iMtG...lol
