Would you be able to do this:

Someone's creature kills the Child, you respond with the Reprieve. You then let her die, killing everything, but does she come back after? Or is she killed along with everything else?

I would think she would die, then come back to the battlefield

Graceful reprieve is a pretty good Iso scepter candidate...
