Updated. I added more removal to the sideboard and made te odd choice of {dark imposter} in place of {craterhoof behemoth}. He has a couple important characteristics. First he is a vamp which helps {bloodline keeper}. Second he is early or late game. Third he is undiscriminating spot removal (what i really wanted in this update). Finally he is a creature that {garruk relentless} and {angel of serenity} can access.

I enjoy your FNM: Decks. Great job with all of them. They are very thought-out. Once you think things out, obscure cards can actually become playable, which is cool. How is mr. Dark Inposter testing?

I like the versatility of your bombs. Instead of going for consistency, you have 1 of each different bomb, so your opponent will have to deal with a bomb in a different way whenever they drop. I like this idea.

Despite how it looks on paper the deck is highly consistent in how it plays out match to match. The idea going into this was "threat based control" which in this super diverse format i was forced to diversify my threats.

Early game is spent on tapped shocklands, {farseek}, {blind obediance}, and {abrupt decay}. Sometimes {lingering souls} are used as blockers or to pick off an early planeswalker.

Mid game reveals my first threat (singular! I never invest in the mid and early game without back up in my hand). This is often a walker or {bloodline keeper}. {Garruk relentless} fights of annoyances like {silverblade paladin} and preps to tutor if need be (which is his primary purpose in the deck). {Sorin, lord of innastrad} does a great job of keeping me off the clock against aggro and can (though rarely used) provide a lasting benifit to my many threats.

Late game garruk starts tutoring for the appopriate threats to end the game each with it's own unique purpose.
{Armada wurm}: suspected spot removal end game. The "double ended dildo" as it is affectionately refered to does a great job of ending the game even if they have spot removal. The nature of my early and mid game invokes the wrath spells of my opponent often leaving them with spot kills only.

{Obzedat, ghost council}: suspected wrath, fast clock on my opponent. Opposite the wurm i use Obi Wan (totally want an alt art featuring the jedi ghosts) when i suspect wrath instea of instant speed removal. I rarely attack with him, and if i do it is usually with a {vault of the archangel} backing it up.

{trostani, voice of selesnya}: occasional blocker, army builder, and life gainer. On occasion i will use her to block early game, but her primary purpose is to move my life out of range of direct spells while making an army to avoid combat damage to my life. Simply, she stabalizes me.

{Dark imposter}: spot removal tribal synergy. Yes he is a vamp making bloodline that much better, but his real purpose is in the late game removing nasty threats from the board.

{angel of serenity}: removal and recursion. The removal aspect is only used if it garuntees my victory otherwise her primary purpose is to get back my bombs and mid game cards that fell along the way.

{terminus} and {barter in blood} sweep away opposition while allowing my access to my own creatures caught in the crossfire at a later point. {Thragtusk} provides a great stablization and couples well with the rest of the deck.

The important thing here is that nearly any two cards in this deck have some sort of synergy. Farseek to play faster, obediance to buy time for thought out reactions, life and more life, token and tribal, shuffle and search, it's all connected in a delicate balance. This is one of the best decks I have ever made and am excited to see it play out in the coming weeks.

Thank you CV for prompting this in depth explaination. P.S. he's testing well and serves as a very comfortable option to fall back on.

Sweet breakdown. I like how {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice} has synergy with like all your wincons. For instance, her + {Obzedat, Ghost Council} = life gain out the wazoo!

Yup, i discovered that one by accident in early testing. She was going to get cut until that happened and i took a second look at her.
