Ok, so we've already established (in another thread) that combat damage is damage dealt during the combat phase from one creature to another creature or player. So technically would {suq'ata firewalker}s ability and {statecraft} work as a combo? Cause some players are now arguing nowadays that combat damage is any other targeted form of damage (ie: shock). Tried to find it in the rules??? Help!

The firewalker's ability is not combat damage, even if it is activated in the combat step. Only damage that creatures deal as a part of the combat damage step is combat damage.

I don't really see how those cards would combo out.

Statecraft: Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt by creatures you control.
Since my creatures (wizard deck) are not meant to attack but for their abilities, I can use statecraft + death pitts of wrath to pick off creatures and still block with them!
