How nanny mythics do you average per box? I usually get 6 but with the new flip cards I get about 8 how about everyone else. Any great boxes. I know I got a few crappy ones

Well idk what was from what, but from a Variety Pack, (50 boosters, from 7 sources; 1 Box, 1 Fat Pack; 1 of each Intro Deck) I pulled about 12 Mythics, one was a foil {Elbrus, Binding Blade} (I think that's the name)

Mrnolife

In dark ascension i would put the ratio to about 1 mythic in every 4 packs

Pakamper

I got 0 mythics in 8 packs in the sealed prerelease

Validan

2 mythica consecutively out of six packs

Have you seen the thing going around where ppl are petitioning to get rid of the Mythic status?  Their claim is that Mythics drive up the price for rares even though they are printing more cards then ever before.  I kinda see the point But IDK....

If they do, that would mean that Planeswalkers would be pulled a lot more often, unless the "would be" Mythics were distributed as a super-rare, or otherwise a mythic. I for one don't mind it, pulling a Mythic feels good. I love cracking a pack to see a Mythic in the rare slot, and the very rare occurrence of the Mythic foil! Yeah, they should keep it.

I don't understand that argument. Mythic rares are supposed to let novice players know what cards to watch for. "Hey, wanna trade your {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad} for my {Lost in the Woods}?

I don't know what happened with {Archangel's Light} though. ðŸ"¥ðŸ'©

[/quote] Yeah! First time I saw him I thought something like: "OMFGWTF is this card, I'm totally using it to substitute my elixirs in my ramp deck, I have enough mana for anything that comes anyway!" usually I'm around all manas in play and dual mana by vorinclex + elves at turn 10 or so. But THEN I saw the manacost of the card. WOW. Even if I can really play it, it just ain't practical. When I have around the 48 manas, I'm attacking with my elves. And I spend at least 10 regenerating with asceticism. Plus the 16 manas or so that I leave in a way to regenerate all my creatures at least once. Or more, in case of some death touch attack + {judgement day}. The rest of the mana I'm already playing my 8 cmc bastards like liege of the tangle. And that's ALOT mana generation, which didn't leave space to the archangel light until I have nothing more in my deck to play, in which time I'm either winning, or it can't save me. Well, just sayin it should be 1 life per card and around, dunno, 5 cmc?
