Xcom: Enemy Unknown

Since others are talking about games I'd thought I would see if anyone else is planning to play this once it launches? Launch date October 9th
I've the original, from when it was released 13 years ago, and still try to play it when I get some time.

I want to get it. I still played the original because it was so awesome. I can't wait for the new xcom to come out.

From my understanding it will have some form of multi-player too but I don't know how exactly.
I've pre-paid so I get the extraswhich are interesting.

Cool!  I don't know if I'd play the multiplayer but I'm sure they figured something out that would work well. From what I hear, it's pretty much the original but updated with modern gameplay/graphics right?
