Here's a budget combo for Innistrad.  You may even be able to line this up at the prerelease:

{Spiteful Shadows} + {Into the Maw of Hell}

for 6 mana you get to take out a land, kill  creature (probably), and smack face for 13.  Simple.

At rare, {Blasphemous Act} or the new {Alpha Brawl} will do the trick too.

{Harvest Pyre} can do some mean damage.
