It's an ice cream container with 3 flavors unmixed but next to each other. Most commonly it's strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.

Where did "Junk" come from for {B}{G}{W} anyway? I mean, I like it, it's catchy, but I have no idea why it's called that, and its a good color combo too!

like Jund ({B}{R}{G}), but {W} instead. Making it "junky", I guess.

If you need to explain two levels of a joke/name, it's really not going to gel.  Any names should make sense as soon as you hear it (USA = {R}{W}{U}, RUG, BUG, etc.)  Although, it IS a pity no one uses RUB instead of Grixis.   

If you want to come up with a name, find one for {B}{R}{W}.

I would call it Brick. Name just came to me.

For the BRW, I'm thinking either "newspaper" or the more lengthy "sunburnt penguin", because it is BLACK WHITE, and RE(a)D all over!
