Phage the Untouchable

I'm yet to play commander, but I had a question;

If I choose {{Phage, the untouchable}} as my commander, and summon her into the battlefield, will I lose the game?

I'm not sure how the command zone works exactly.

It is not from your hand. You would need a card like {Torpor Orb} to play her from your command zone.

I do not believe {Diabolical Tutor} affects the command zone. You could use a different black commander, have Phage in the deck and pull her out with the tutor.
