So I've never built an Commander deck. I haves {sen triplets} that I would like to use as my commander, but I have no idea how to go about building a deck, so some 101 pointers would be helpfull.

Refuse.

Lol, you guys flatter me. Good thing flattery gets you everywhere.

{Sen Triplets} are fun. You want to make sure you have lots of mana fixing so you can actually cast those spells from other people's hand - {Exotic Orchard}, {Mycosynth Lattice}, {command tower}, {rupture spire}, {manalith}, {vessel of endless rest}, {alloy myr}, etc, etc.

Aside from that, control is your friend - returning things to their hand (so you can play it instead) is hilarious. {unsummon} effects all over the place. {Archaeomancer} and {Mnemonic wall} to keep your spells flowing...

Esper colors give you some really versatile options for your creatures, too. A lot depends on what you like to do. You can lean black for big nasties, white for smaller, big-effect creatures, and blue for maximum manipulation and flight, like {Sphynx of Unthuum}

Oh, and board wipes out the yin-yang. white has some of the best, if not the absolute best, ones in mtg. And black has some contenders, too.

AgrusKos

{B} for removal. {W} for stuff like {Day of Judgement} and {Divine Verdict}. {U} for {Mana Leak} and control.

Karrthus

Don't forget {Damnation}, {Life's Finale}, {Wrath of God}, and {Rout}.
I wouldn't advise building the deck around artifacts no matter how tempting it may be. In my experience most EDH players play lots of artifact and enchantment hate.

Try {conjure's closet} to repeat those etb effects :)
